Christmas Eve Makeup

Hi girls!

I thought I'd share with you my Christmas Eve Makeup. I really loved it!

First of all, when I washed my hair I put a lot of mousse in my damp hair and scrunched it up as I have some natural curls. Usually I don't do that, but it was a special occassion...

BTW, that's the first time you see my complete upper half of my face.;-)

I used a golden eyeshadow all over my lid, then a brown shadow in the crease. The shadows were all from my Sleek Palettes. I really can't remember which ones I used.

I also used my NYX Super Skinny Marker for a fine line of eye liner. Put some mascara on and you're done.

For the lips I went with a red. It is the one in my self-made quad in the lower right corner. Click here to see it. On top I used a red lip gloss.

That was my look for Christmas Eve. After some time my curls were practically non-existent, despite the fact that I used so much mousse, gel and hair spray. My hair is just so thick and heavy...

essence crystalliced LE | glitter froster

Hey guys!

I did some shopping yesterday and found the essence crystalliced LE. Most of the things were still there but I wasn't really interested in most of them. Only one thing caught my eye:

It is a glitter for your eyes, lips and body - and it is really, really glittery....

As the pictures can't really show the all the glitz that's going on, I made a little video:

Glitter Snow Nails | Merry Christmas

Hey girl!

I just wanted to show you my Glitter Snow Nails for Christmas.

They are really simple to make.
Here is what I used:

Apply white nail polish. You might need two coats. Let dry.  Then apply a clear polish and use tweezer to sprinkle the glitter over your nails. Try to focus the most glitter on the top edge of your nail. Let try for a bit. Then take the polish with bigger glitter chunks an apply one coat. Again, let this one try and then apply a top coat of your choice.
Optional, you can apply another layer of top coat to be on the super safe side.
I used the broad tweezer to sprinkle the glitter on my nails. It is just a mess to touch the glitter with your hand.

In the pictures you can see that there was glitter all over the place and on my fingers. I didn't mind because it rinses quite easily off. I also used a piece of paper underneath so the glitter fell on the paper.

I also wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

That's the tree of my family! I decorated it.

Animal print tissue boxes

Hey guys!

I have to show you this. They are animal print tisssue boxes!!! I have been loving animal for the past 1 1/2 years. No wonder I was really excited when I was the boxes.

Doesn't it look great!?

Now, for the best part. Where do you think I got them? No idea?!  I bought them at Lidl!!

They are so cheap. Can't recall the price but they were under 1€. I already went back and got me a second one. :-)

This is the brand:

They are great to use. Some cheap tissues are so thin that they rip apart when you pull them out of the box. Not the case with these.

Lidl also had some other designs, if you are not into animal print. These were white with silver or gold ornaments, if I recall it correctly.

P.S.: It's snowing! Yeah! Hope it stays for Christmas...

Alnatura - Coconut Water

Hey guys!

So I've read that coconut water is so healthy and sooo calorie-free, there was just no way around buying the Alnatura coconut water when I saw it in my local dm.

I gave it a try and just couldn't finish it... I totally did not like it! My family tried it as well and they were not too enthusiastic either.

If you want to, give it a try. I am not so lucky with coconut products lately. I love cocnut in candy, Bounty, Rafaello...
I  have bought a coconut lotion in the summer. The smell in the tube is great but if I put it on my skin it turns into this absolute disgusting smell. Just makes me want to vomit. Am I the only one with that phenomenon?

Catrice - C'mon Chameleon!

Hey girls!

Thought I'd show you my first eye shadow by Catrice. It is actually a new one which came out this year. It is called C'mon Chameleon!. Here it is on the Catrice website.

It does not look too spectacular, right!? Wait til you see the swatches....

I honestly can't tell you which colour it is. You have bronze, green, and silver in it. Depending from which direction you look at it.

Here you can see it on my eye. I used it all over the lid and in the crease I used a brown to blend.

As Catrice is now available in most dm's, I will look for more unique eye shadows like this one.

Do you have any recommendation?

Pink Z-Palette

Hey guys!

I thought I'd show you my Z-Palette. If you haven't seen it, here is my haul with the other products I bought.

The complete black inside is magnetic and I mean, really magnetic. Pretty strong!!

Originally, I thought I would use it mainly when I am travelling but then I don't travel that much at the moment...
So I filled it with some eye shadow I haven't used a lot lately and use these every day.

You are probably wondering from which brand these shadows are. Because not all pans are magnetic. So from top left to bottom right: L'Oréal, Max Factor, a trio by Maybelline, Max Factor, and Covergirl.

If you depotted an eyeshadow and the pan is not magnetic, you can still use it in your Z-Palette.

You can buy some of these:

These are magnetic self-adhesive squares. Just stick them to the pan and pop it in your palette. If the square is too big, cut it in half.

I had my eyes on the Z-Palettes for a while but I always thought that they are too expensive. But I finally caved ...This small one cost around 12 €. They come in different designs. Originally I wanted a black one but it was sold out.
A Z-Palette is definitely a nice thing to have. Maybe something to put on your christmas wish list?!....

Douglas Haul Stuttgart | NYX, Beliance

Hey girl!

Last week I've been to Stuttgart. Lately I can't pass a Douglas without taking a look inside.

I was very surprised to see that this Douglas had the NYX display. In the end I only bought one NYX product and one other. I mean, you have to be careful not to spend all your money in a Douglas store... ;-)
Here is what I bought:

Quite a surprise to see they are made in Germany...

You can vary the thickness which is really nice. The colour is black and it drys not glossy. I already have a glossy black eye liner. It is this one.
It costs about 10€.

The other product is this one:

It is a soap for cleaning your brushes. I usually use shampoo for cleaning but I read somewhere that is good so I thought I'd give it a try. It also smells nice. Lemonlike, though the scent does not linger in the brushes. The soap also cost about 10 €.
